Lake Eyre from the air – salt meets sky

Just back from a five-day trip to the outback in Australia, my primary intention to visit and film at Belt Bay Lake Eyre, which is Australia's lowest point. Lake Eyre is often described as being at the dead heart of the country, it's also a vast - currently dry salt lake the size of Belgium.

The trip was in part made possible by the invitation of the University of South Australia, who asked me to Adelaide to examine the MA exhibition of a student there.
